Bangkok | Ton Pho

Next to Tha Phra Athit ferry stop, Banglamphu

Ton Pho isn’t fancy. With plastic table cloths, and no airconditioning, it still has the best Thai food we ate in our entire time in Thailand! Located right on the riverfront with lazy fans overhead, they have their own live prawn tanks which was the basis of the best dish we had there.

The spicy beef salad and stir fried morning glory was also fantastic. Their menu is so extensive (about 8 or 9 pages of dishes) it’s so hard to choose. It definitely requires more than one visit! Come here to watch the river traffic and eat great food until you’re ready to burst!
