Leenane, Co Galway, Ireland

Such a surprise to find this very classy cafe with excellent food hiding in the little town of Leenane. It’s very popular and seems to keep the proprietors very busy. They turned away about 20 people while we were eating.

The absolute winner of the evening were the huge pots of fresh mussells in white wine sauce which were harvested from the harbour just outside.
